Artificial Insemination

Under the sponsored BPA/RBST initiative supported by the Deerpark AI Centre, semen from Victoria Golden Arrow 165 is available to order by telephone from Monday 14th November 2005. Joining him in October 2008 is a new young boar, Blewett Prefect 86

The cost for 3 bottles of fresh semen, catheters and instructions is £20.00 plus postage (usually between £5-£6). To order, simply phone 02879 386287 once your sow or gilt is showing early signs of coming on heat and the package will be posted for next day delivery that day.

Be aware that the Post Office will not guarantee next day delivery on a Saturday. Experience has shown that around 70% of packages sent out on a Friday arrive next morning so it may be better to wean your sow on the Thursday/Friday to avoid having to inseminate on a Saturday/Sunday.

The semen will be sent without delay and you will be invoiced at the end of the month. Please pay by cheque or postal order – Deerpark do not accept credit/debit cards.
